Natural stone and dark-stained timber anchor the house within its rugged setting, while carefully framed openings and restrained proportions create a strong relationship between the interior spaces and the landscape beyond. A series of gabled forms echoes the character of traditional agricultural buildings, creating sheltered outdoor spaces and framing views across the hills and surrounding countryside.
